Built to Lead Checklist
- Use the Built to Lead Program Planning Guide to create and share the Chapter Calendar with members of the chapter.
- Chapters should consider required campus programming that may meet Built to Lead program expectations. IHQ staff can clarify if a campus program fulfills these expectations.
- Review all Built to Lead programs to ensure each program is scheduled at the appropriate time and with the appropriate materials. (Curriculum has been developed to ensure there is a consistent Phi Gamma Delta experience and to reduce burden of planning on chapters.)
- Review Menu Experiences programs, and consider Fraternity and campus resources you can use to host your chapter’s required programs.
- Report your chapter’s programming once completed.

Built to Lead Expectations
To successfully plan programs, review your chapter’s annual Built to Lead Expectations on the Member Site in your chapter’s space (officers have access).

Chapter Benefits
Chapter Coach: Chapters are provided with a trained Coach to assist with implementing Built to Lead. The Chapter Coach’s responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with campus partners and the IFC to navigate policies and procedures
- Provide support and feedback
- Prepare chapter advisors
Courageous Leader Scholarship: Chapters can earn up to $2,000 with the Courageous Leader Scholarship. If your chapter would like to establish this scholarship, utilize the Courageous Leader Scholarship Manual to guide you through the implementation process.
