Brotherhood should challenge you to grow, surround you with men who hold you accountable and create friendships that last far beyond college. It should never require humiliation, fear or harm.
During National Hazing Prevention Week, September 21-25, join brothers across Phi Gamma Delta in showing what genuine brotherhood looks like and committing to have the Courage Against Hazing.
How to Participate in the NHPW Campaign
Educate
- Read about the Fraternity’s Hazing Prevention Plan.
- Educate your members about their rights.
- Review the Hazing Prevention Resources and share them with your chapter/provisional chapter.
Pledge
Standing against hazing has always been the right thing to do. Sign the Pledge to have Courage Against Hazing to raise awareness of how hazing is antithetical to the Fraternity’s values.
Real Brotherhood Looks Like…
The strongest relationships in Phi Gamma Delta aren’t created by seeing what another brother is willing to endure.
They’re built by:
- Showing up for one another
- Sharing meaningful experiences
- Holding each other accountable
- Serving together
- Overcoming challenges together
- Celebrating each other’s successes
- Having difficult conversations
- Creating memories together
- Treating every brother with dignity and respect
Brotherhood isn’t something you earn by enduring mistreatment. It’s something we build together.
Hazing Prevention Network
The Hazing Prevention Network encourages individuals participate in National Hazing Prevention week by wearing purple to promote hazing prevention. Wear purple between September 21-25, post a photo and tag PhiGamHQ on Instagram or International Fraternity of Phi Gamma Delta on Facebook to be reshared.
