William A. Martin III Distinguished Fiji Award

The Archons established the Distinguished Fiji Award (DFA) in 1965. Their policy states, “The DFA will be presented annually to no more than six graduate brothers who shall be deserving of recognition for their faithful and unselfish service to Phi Gamma Delta or their special contribution to mankind and society at large.” The award was renamed the William A. Martin III Distinguished Fiji Award in 2019, upon Bill’s retirement as Executive Director.

Know any distinguished graduate brothers you would like to nominate for the DFA? Please nominate brothers whom you would like to honor with this Award using the form below. You may include any quality news articles or stories on your nominee that apply to his nomination (please keep this additional documentation to a maximum of three pages.)

Nominations must be submitted by May 1, 2024 to guarantee entry into this year’s competition. Nominations received after this date will not be counted. Past DFA winners (linked above) are not eligible for re-nomination, and current International Fraternity General Officers (Archons, Section Leaders, etc.) are also ineligible.
