About the Characteristics
The 2025-26 academic year marked the fourth year of the Fraternity’s adoption of Built to Lead. This marked an important time to evaluate the program for areas of success, improvement opportunities and a vision for Built to Lead’s future across chapters. Fraternity staff worked throughout the year to collect broad feedback about individual programs and the experience overall. This feedback identified the need to clearly define the program’s ultimate goals for individual members’ growth. As a result, five characteristics were defined as an anchor for Built to Lead.
These characteristics describe what the Fraternity hopes each brother will develop through their participation in Built to Lead and their chapter.
