About Foundation of Courage

Foundation of Courage (FOC) is designed for newly initiated brothers to ensure they have the necessary education and resources to be fully engaged members of the chapter. FOC should be hosted every time new brothers join the chapter, so it is recommended to schedule FOC three to four times per year.

There are six programs used to achieve this objective, and all newly initiated brothers must complete the FOC programming within 21 days of initiation.

Additionally, chapters are expected to use the Purple Pilgrim as outlined in their curriculum. All brothers must have access to the Purple Pilgrim, which is available to purchase as a hardback book or as a free e-reader.
