
Dave Hancock (Alberta 1976) Named Assistant Chief Justice
In May, David “Dave” Hancock (Alberta 1976) was named Assistant Chief Justice of the Alberta Court of Justice in the Edmonton Family & Youth Division. Previously, Dave served as a member of the Legislative Assembly of Alberta from 1997-2014, interim Premier of Alberta from March 23 – September 15, 2014, and a Provincial Court Judge from 2017-25. Dave attended the University of Alberta, where he earned his undergraduate degree in political science in 1976 and his law degree in 1979.
