Lucas Elwell (Oklahoma State 2009) Named Outstanding Young Alumni
Oklahoma State University’s (OSU) Spears School of Business honored Lucas Elwell (2009) with the 2025 Outstanding Young Alumni award. The Outstanding Young Alumni awards recognize recent Spears Business graduates (age 40 or younger) who provide significant service and achievement early in their professional careers.
Lucas graduated from OSU Spears School of Business in 2009 with two bachelor’s degrees in finance and international business, and he earned his MBA from OSU in 2010. After graduation, he served in several leadership positions for ExxonMobil in Houston from 2010-17. In 2017, he accepted a position at MidFirst Bank in Oklahoma City, where he currently serves as Vice President of Credit Risk Management.
Outside of his career, Lucas is actively involved with Spears Business, attending recruitment and networking events and volunteering as an annual MBA case competition judge. He has also endowed two OSU scholarships, and he has served on the Dean’s Executive Council for five years and the Spears Business Mentoring Advisory Committee for eight years.
