About The Leadership Institute
The Leadership Institute is a premier leadership experience, empowering brothers to work on real chapter issues. During the event, attendees will learn about their leadership style and values, and they will develop a plan to tackle chapter issues incongruent with the Fraternity’s Ritual and values.
Brothers who attend The Leadership Institute will be able to:
- Articulate their own definition and personal style of leadership.
- Define what a “personal value” means and identify their own personal values.
- Create a realistic action plan in consultation with other brothers and facilitators for guiding themselves and their chapters.
Support from the Phi Gamma Delta Educational Foundation makes it possible for up to two brothers from each chapter to attend The Leadership Institute each year for free. Attendees travel, lodging, meals and program costs are fully covered.
While any undergraduate brother can attend the Institute, the program is designed for emerging leaders rather than current officers. We recommend chapters encourage rising sophomores and juniors who are aspiring to serve in leadership positions to attend.
