
Ed Robinson (Bucknell 1986) Earns the NIC’s Advisor Award of Distinction
Ed Robinson (Bucknell 1986) received the North American Interfraternity Conference’s (NIC) 2025 Advisor Award of Distinction, recognizing 10 years of service as the Purple Legionnaire of the Delta Chapter at Bucknell (2015- 25).
As Purple Legionnaire, Ed was known on campus for personally knowing each undergraduate brother. Every year he wrote recommendation letters for graduate school or gave references for job interviews. He provided countless hours of encouragement and assistance to the Delta Chapter’s officers and brothers. Ed also modeled a special, unique kind of wisdom, empathy and compassion to the Chapter. This recognition coincides with his retirement from over ten years as the Purple Legionnaire.
The Advisor Award of Distinction recognizes advisors for their exceptional commitment to advising a chapter, Interfraternity Council or Greek life community. Each recipient demonstrates dedication to guiding the fraternity members with whom they work, and exemplifies the highest standards of character, leadership and interfraternalism both personally and professionally.
